India and South Asia

Our mission is to fulfill the commandment of Jesus to love God and to love our neighbor. Despite our desire to help in as many areas as possible, The AOC South Asia Ministries major focus will be on:

  • childhood development and education (primary school support and adult education). We have two Mercy Homes, funded by friends in the US in Eluru and Neekulum.
  • community development, adult education and women's empowerment programs. We are running cottage industry training and sewing schools for housewives.
  • medical clinics, preventive medicine and corrective surgery (CARE Medical Trust). We run clinics in our 28 mission school premises when we visit.
  • native missions and pastoral support. We have many ministries in rural villages.

Please visit our South Asia Mission website.

Presently AOC has intercommunion with a 110 year old locally gazetted church, the India Christian Mission. We have ministries in Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Tripura states.
