ANNOUNCEMENT TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH:
I take great joy in announcing the ordination into Holy Orders of the Rev. Stephen Cooper of the Church of the Redeemer in Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Rev. Cooper is most accomplished in Bible study and teaching over many years of experience. His knowledge of the spiritual nature and application of God’s Word is phenomenal and worthy of commendation.
The Church of the Redeemer was founded some forty years ago as a result of the modernist influences that had taken control of the Episcopal Church USA. The parish has maintained its independence over those many years and have adhered strictly to the Thirty Nine Articles of Religion, the King James Bible, and the 1928 Book of Common Prayer without compromise and under sometimes challenging circumstances.
The Rev. Cooper has requested to come under the Episcopal covering of the Anglican Orthodox Communion, and it is our honor to joyfully comply.
I have developed a Facebook page for Church of the Redeemer and will be adding information and photos to that page in the process of time.
Our congratulations go out to Stephen+ and the faithful members of Church of the Redeemer.
