The Anglican Orthodox Church also has an ever increasing presence in the Spanish-speaking world. In South America, we have missions in Colombia, Cuba, Uruguay, and Argentina with Bishop Roy Morales-Kuhn providing Administrative Oversight for the current and any new Latin American Missions.

The Anglican Orthodox Church International welcomes our newest bishop, Jose Rios, Cartagena, Colombia.

Bishop Jose was recently consecrated at Statesville, North Carolina, this October 2021. He will primarily be responsible for the nation of Colombia with some other temporary duties assigned as needed. Bishop Jose has been shepherding a group of men in the Cartagena area and other cities of Colombia.  A number of deacons have been ordained and soon some new presbyters will be added too.

We also have two clergymen in Spain. One, a bishop, lives in the north of the country in the city of Burela, and the other, the Rev Claudio Renato de la Jara Ramirez, currently located in Madrid Spain, conducts Bible studies and Anglican services in that city. Bishop Eduardo Vilar, retired, is bishop of Galicia Spain.

As more and more godly men are raised up, pray that the “faith once delivered” may be shared throughout the Americas.

We pray God’s blessings on all these endeavors for the Kingdom.

La Iglesia Ortodoxa Anglicana también tiene una presencia cada vez mayor en el mundo de habla hispana. En América del Sur, tenemos misiones en Colombia, con el Obispo Roy Morales-Kuhn proporcionando Supervisión Administrativa para las Misiones Latinoamericanas actuales y nuevas. La rama latinoamericana de la AOC se está expandiendo a Cuba, Uruguay y Argentina en este momento.

La Iglesia Ortodoxa Anglicana Internacional da la bienvenida a nuestro nuevo obispo, José Ríos, Cartagena, Colombia. El obispo José fue consagrado recientemente en Statesville, Carolina del Norte, este octubre de 2021. Será principalmente responsable de la nación de Colombia con algunos otros deberes temporales asignados según sea necesario. El obispo José ha estado pastoreando a un grupo de hombres en el área de Cartagena y otras ciudades de Colombia.  Se han ordenado varios diáconos y pronto también se agregarán algunos nuevos presbíteros.

También tenemos dos clérigos en España. Uno, obispo, vive en el norte del país en la ciudad de Burela, y el otro, el reverendo Claudio Renato de la Jara Ramírez, actualmente ubicado en Madrid, España, realiza estudios bíblicos y servicios anglicanos en esa ciudad.  Obispo Eduardo Vilar, jubilado, es obispo de Galicia España.

A medida que se levantan más y más hombres piadosos, oren para que la “fe una vez entregada” pueda ser compartida en todo el continente americano.
